International Collaboration Using Remote Sensing for Crop Monitoring in
Information on food market prices and food affordability and other ancillary data are brought together with remote sensing information to inform food security. A new system entitled "Global Agriculture Geomonitoring Initiative" (GEOGLAM) seeks to harmonize production assessments across nations and regions using satellite data to ensure a comprehensive and transparent assessment of food production. Satellite data is increasingly used to assess the amount of food grown globally. International collaboration in global agricultural monitoring activities not only enhances professional experiences, but also integrates data collection. This project aims to enhance the capabilities on food security by the use of spatial and Earth Observation (EO) information in international collaborations. Four working items will be implemented: (1) the participation of the on-going international projects; (2) the exchange of data, experiences and techniques during site visits ;(3) attending annual meetingsheld byGEO/ JECAM/ Asia RiCE to strengthen the cooperation with the members; (4) integrating survey and satellite data to find out the applicable rice crop model.
Evaluation Project in Technical Output of New Southbound Policy of Farmland Water Conservancy In follow up with the government to promote the agricultural new southbound policy, the project is intended to Taiwan's leading international farmland water conservancy projects and irrigation management technology experience, the relevant farmland water management system, planning and design experience and water, water storage technology and other commercial, customization, in response to the needs of the New Southbound countries to help both sides to upgrade and create mutually beneficial cooperation in the new situation. The project is based on practical technical experience of different types of irrigation system planning to assist the countries such as Indonesia and Thailand to improve their farmland water conservancy infrastructure and to help them solve the problem of water supply. In addition, the assessment and application methods of Taiwan's farmland water conservancy irrigation management systemand rice cultivation techniques,will be integrated to help the New Southbound countries to enhance its water use efficiency and rice production. Related to the results, can be used as a tool to promote to other New Southbound countries. (RID) Krasiew Irrigation Project Area Application of Geographic Information System Technology in Irrigation Management to Enhance the Efficiency of Agricultural Water Use in Thailand and Promote Taiwan's Farmland Water conservancy technology irrigation management technology output and cooperation with the New Southbound countries. The other will be the implementation of Taiwan's many years of water-saving pipeline irrigation projects and promote the results, so as to facilitate the promotion of other high economic crop species to the New Southbound countries. The project aims to increase the interaction and cooperation between Taiwan and the New Southbound countries, and to develop the new output mode of domestic farmland water conservancy industry and enhance the cooperation opportunities between Taiwan and the New Southbound countries.
Study of Rice Water - saving Technology and Agricultural Water Resources Management.

Applying Digital Images on Renewing the Database of Current Condition of Farming Patches
The current farmland patch use map is made to synchronously facilitate
the agriculture survey and establish the geographic data.It could be effectively applied on assisting cultivated area controlling of specific kinds of crops to help food administration and decision making for it precisely depicts farmland use, covering type and change of paddy fields.On the other hand, the current farmland patch use map supports mapping the changes of fallow crops.It helps government officials to obtain site investigation report and identify fields which are unqualified to earn publication subsidy funds.
Integrated management of water, medium and nutrient at Strawberry
This research aims at reduce the occurrence of soil-borne diseases by introduction of media culture at Strawberry seedling stage. The traditional cultivation had higher fertilizer demand due to frequently water supply and low fertility. It had high nitrogen lose caused by rain and irrigation water. This study we will conduct irrigation and fertilization experiment, water consumption estimation and measurement technique on the nutrition diagnosis and reproductive period. It will reveal the effect of medium cultivation and irrigation and fertilization methods on Strawberry seedling quality, growth, yield and nutrient budget of development based on integrated management of water, medium and nutrient at Strawberry seedling stage.
The Study on Food and Agriculture Educational Promotion to Organic.
Product Cognition and Consumer Behavior Influence in the Organic Village Organic agricultural products have recently gained considerable consumer attention and global popularity. These products have also been developed rapidly in Taiwan. However, most consumers either have limited knowledge or inadequate access to information on organic agricultural products. Food safety issues have gained national attention in Taiwan. People start to care about environmental friendly farming and how to choose safety food. Food and agriculture education has also been developed and regarded in society. The purpose of this research is to understand whether the Organic Village perspective and the consumer behavior of organic products of tourists been affected by food and agriculture education. The tourist participated in food and agriculture education of Organic Village will survey by questionnaires to understand the effects studied.
